I apologise for the sparsity of detail in this request. I am trying to track down the Shaw family of Cullybackey Co Antrim NI. All I have to go on is a marriage which probably took place in mid 1800s. Known facts:

Samuel McKay was born on 20th October 1845 and died on 2nd September 1928. Unfortunately these are the only dates I have.

He was the youngest in the family and had a brother John and two sisters.

Their father was probably also John and their mother was an Elliot. They lived in Clough. John Snr. had a sister Peggy who married William McKibbin.

One sister Alena married a Mr Simpson.

The other, Mary, married a Mr Shaw.
It is this last marriage that interests me.
Their son was William Shaw - the Solicitor and author of the books "CULLYBACKEY. The Story of an Ulster Village" and" A Short History of the Reformed Presbyterian Congregation Cullybackey".

Does anyone recognise any of this?
