Seeking information and connections in Ireland for the Hunter family.

Thomas H. Hunter b. about 1804 Londonderry or Antrim, Ireland, d. 1880 Hamilton, Butler Co., OH. Thomas came to the US some time before 20 Apr. 1826 when he married Clarrissa Laughlin in Butler Co. OH.

Family tradition stories say he was married in Ireland and left a wife and children to come to the US.

His parents were Thomas and Martha (Richy) Hunter and they did not immigrate.
Thomas senior was a tailor by trade. Thomas and Martha had the following children that I know of:

Martha

Betsey did not immigrate and lived in Ireland.

I believe the brothers Samuel, Robert and William also immigrated to Ohio after Thomas H Hunter.

Martha b. about 1810, Derry Ireland, married William Henry who died some time between 1844 and 1848 in Ireland. The only children I know of are: (I believe there were others)
