Matthew "Mathias" Grose,born 1787 married Mary Wearn(born cornwall 1790), in 1809.
Re Mary.....Most researching for their trees, Have gone For Mary Wearn born 1795(documented proof with her birth age 2 months prior to baptism),daughter of Peter Wearn/Thomasine Shugg. But as there is also documented proof they were married in 1809 at Phillack,her age would be 14 or 15,depending on month of wedding.The only other candidate in that whole area,turns out to be Mary Vivian Wearn,born 1790,AND born in Phillack,daughter of Thomas Wearn and Mary.....?
Her age is 19 at marriage,& also correct at time of her death in Rushen in 1839 (49years).Much more likely,even though she seems to have dropped her middle name Vivian??
