I'm looking for information about the ancestors of Thomas Buxton (about 1798 - 1861 in Newcastle, NSW, Australia) and George Buxton (abt 1810). Brothers from Sheffield. It seems that Thomas was convicted of lacerny and transported in 1820 abord the Guildford. George stayed behind and was a table knife manufacturer who married Elizabeth Deakin (? about 1808) in 1831 and they had 4-5 children, the boys were William George (1835) and George Albert (1839. It also seems that he was a very wealthy man when he died in 1880. He resided in Sharrow Villa on Psalter Lane in Sheffield. The brother later sold the property I think and moved to the Manor on 35 Grenhills Main Road, Sheffield.

Stuck tracing the ancestors of these two brothers - George and Thomas. Any help will be appreciated...
