Hi Bryan
Sorry for the delay in responding, have had a few personal matters to deal with.

Agnes' address at the date of death was 41 Brook Street, Hartlepool. Her death was on 7th May 1910. It was registered by her sister in law Bertha Liddell of 44 Brook Street. Agnes was 19 years old.
William Liddell, died in 1909, lived at 38 Brook Street Hartlepool, and his son Ralph Liddell (Bertha's husband) registered his death). He lived at 14 Slater Street.

It appears that by the time of the census in 1911, Bertha and Ralph were living at 12 Briar Street Hartlepool, so they had moved again. So in answer to your question, no one lived at the same address as Agnes. Her occupation was put down as "Spinster & domestic servant & daughter of William Liddell (deceased) ). It is interesting that when Ethel Mary Sherdon/Liddell got married, both times, William was put down as "William Liddell", there was no mention of his death.
Thanks for your help in this. It has been very useful.

I just need now to work out how to find my grand father in the 1911 census, together with his parents, Joseph Pearson and Mary Elizabeth Pearson (nee Burns). None of them are present. Also, need to work out how to trace back both Joseph Pearson, whose father was James, and Mary Elizabeth Burns, whose father on her birth certificate was John Lackland Burns, mother Maria Skinner, when Mary Elizabeth Burns was born in 1882. When she and Joseph married in 1904, both put down that they were 22 years old. Her father's name changed to Laughlin Burns (deceased). My paternal grandfather Joseph Charles Pearson, was born in February 1905, 6 months after they got married. He married in April 1931, and died in April 1964. He also served in the Durham 18th Light Infantry (Home Guard). I don't know when Mary Elizabeth and Joseph Pearson died. I think that I have found Joseph in the 1901 and 1891 census - as stepson to William Pattison, but can't find his birth. I thought that I had found his father, but now I am not too sure.
Can you shed any light on anything?

Gemma
