I am looking for a connection and information.
My 3x great grandmother was Alice Holt. Here's what I know:
She was born in about 1837 in Benton, Yorkshire (according to the 1871 census. Her father was George Holt (a watchman in 1865).

She married a Brayshaw sometime before 1865. She was widowed by 1865.

IN 1865 she married Elijah Cameron. She lived in Manchester by that time.

In 1867 Alice and Elijah had a child Joseph. Elijah, I believe, went to prison soon after that.

I found Alice and Joseph on the 1871 census in the same location in Manchester. Elijah's brother Benjamin Lived with them as well. Her occupation was listed as a mangle keeper.

I can't find any record of Alice, Joseph or Benjamin in the 1881 census. I have no idea where they went after 1871.

Joseph married in 1885 and reappears in the 1891 census.

Any help/information would be appreciated.
