I am looking for the parentage of Molly Williams, one of my direct ancestors and who married George Tickle on 9 November 1766 at St Peters, Droitwich. Both she and George were residents of the parish of St Nicolas, Droitwich.

I have checked the LDS indexes and, whereas there are no baptisms for the time frame of a Molly Williams in Worcester, there are far too many of either a Mary Williams or a Margaret Williams (I've read that Molly can be short for Margaret). The only clue I have to her family is the John Williams who is listed in their marriage transcript as a witness.

I welcome any information that anyone can give me, even if it is "negative", ie, the fact that someone has traced a Williams family extensively in that area at that time and that none of them fit.
