My GGGGrandfather was Stephen Musselwhite who was born about 1763 and married Joanna Simmons in Tavistock in July 1795. I cannot trace him or any other members of the family in that area before the marriage and think that he must have moved from Hampshire/Wiltshire. If you or anyone else has lost a Stephen in the late 1700's I would love to hear!!
I have also lost a John Muzzlewhite b 21/4/1874 in Tavistock, son of Sarah. Any chance that he is yours?
