Dear Derek,
I'm sorry to say your Elizabeth Daniel doesn't match any of the Daniels I've been researching. From what I can see there were at least 2 Daniel family lines in the Aston/Stone area. One group were RC and the other group were Anglican. The ones I've been looking at were shoemakers originally, with some farming connections. You have managed to go further back than me, however. I only reached a Charles Daniel born around 1771 in Aston. He married an Elizabeth but she came from Abbots Bromley.
Good luck with your hunt for the Daniels.
Jean
