My ggrandfather Griffith High Roberts (b about 1843) married my ggm, Sarah Poole(b 1846) in 1873 at Eccleshall. They had one son, Thomas in Birkenhead in 1875. Griffith who was a gardener, died soon afterwards. Sarah's father was John Poole (b 1814) of The Outlands near Eccleshall. In 1881 Sarah was living near Stoke as a widow. I am trying to find any info particularly on Griffith.
