Hiyo, I'm hoping to look up the following..
Electoral Register 1923-5, 60 Hey Street, Longton, Stoke-On-Trent.
Electoral Register 1926-1931, 77 Market Street, Longton, Stoke on Trent.
Electoral Register 1924-1930, 40 Bridge Street, Newcastle Under-Lyne
Burial of Doris Elizabeth Banks (formerly Southon) who died at 77 Market Street, Longton, Stoke-On-Trent aged 36 on 31st May 1930.
Any directories in a bid to locate the photography shop ran by Walter Samuel Banks, her husband. Longton area.
It's believed Walter Samuel Banks was actually named Charles Wallbank. I'm hoping to get lucky and find him on the electoral register under his real name.
-----
Doris's burial location is of particular interest as it's for her son who is now 83 years old and has never known where his mothers grave is. Longton Cemetery seems most likely.
If anyone knows where I should look. (as in what libraries etc, etc, ) or has time for a quick search for the burial location we'd be very appreciative.
The hope is that I can travel down from Liverpool and do the research properly armed with knowledge of exactly where the records/registers etc can be found.
Thanks a lot...
Dave C.
