I am looking for information regarding Thomas Easton and his son, Richard. Thomas was born in Bexhill in ca. 1810 and married a Newhaven girl called Sarah (born ca.1813). They had two children: Richard, born 1839 in Newhaven and Sarah, born 1842 in Shoreham. Thomas and Sarah were captured in the 1851 census as living in Shoreham with the two children. Thomas appears in the 1871 census and died in Newhaven in 1874.
Richard married Emily Mundy in 1861 in Brighton. They had two children Richard William (born in Brighton, 1862) and Charles Thomas (born in Newhaven, 1866). At this point Richard drops off the radar altogether. Richard William and Charles Thomas grew up in Chapel Street with their mother Emily and stepfather Harry Ashdown. Any help would be appreciated.
