Hi,
I have been researching my maternal line and got stuck on Harriet Cook (1871 cen says b 1850 buxted sussex), she married Charles Hemsley in 1869 Hadlow Down. I sent for their marr cert hoping to get her fathers name but it wasn,t on it. It says she was 20yrs old and Charles was of full age. The only Harriet Cook i can find on the 1861 cen is age 10 born Lindfield, dau of Henry and Ann.
Could this be the one i am looking for.
