I have record of marriage of Robert Drake to Jane Elizabeth Gawton in the register of St. Catherine Parish, Merstham, Surrey, England in 1622 (when she was 38), however all records I find of Robert Drake indicate he had four children - Nathaniel, Susannah, Francis and Abraham born before that date and possibly one born in 1623. There are also indications of an earlier marriage in 1611. All I find indicate Jane was the spouse, but I suspect there was an earlier spouse who actually was the mother of the four. Does anyone have information in this regard?
