I have traced my line back to the marriage of James CHILCOTT and Mary BREWER 14/04/1776 Dulverton.
There are two baptisms for James in Dulverton PR (both with a father called John)as well as another James whose marriage appears in the PR. All three baptise children in the parish. I'm uncertain as to how I can work out which James is which as all three marriages occur concurrently. I'm new to research in Somerset and the surrrounding area so would really like to hear about sources of information available online. I have access to the PR but was wondering if overseer's accounts or Quarter Sessions records are available anywhere?
