Well, Mary, I'm impressed by what you've done and grateful.

Yes, Charles could have been at sea in 1841 and 1851 (being a mariner in 1871) but I need his parents and would like to establish whether James was his brother. James and Mary Treggle, son James, were in Temple in 1841 so are possibles. It looks as though I'm going to have to give in and buy Charles's marriage certificate, hoping that parent details are there. I'll let you know.
