Would anyone be able to help me with my Hewitt/Tame great grandparents?
Great Grandfather was Frederick Edward Sharp Hewitt and he married Frances Sarah Tame. She was of the Tame/Soden familes of Ledwell/Sanford St. Martin.
The trouble is: I do not know just when or where Frederick and Frances were married. Frederick was from Ramsgate and Frances was born in 1855 in .
Oxford City. So how they ever met up.......
I am assuming that the marriage would have taken place in the Bride's home town?They certainlly lived in Ramsgate after the marriage because that is where their 8 children were born.
The first child was born in 1880.
