I am looking for more information on an Edward Carter, born 1640 in Aston, Oxfordshire, England. I am looking to see if I can find more information on his parents. The info I have found has been spotty, as in saying his father is Edward Carter Sr. with the same date of death. I don't think this is correct. Also, looking for any ship registers attached to him, his wife Margaret, and their only son, Robert. They came to the U.S. from England in 1682 and landed in PA. One source shows Oct 29, 1682.
