Thanks for the warning about the IGI Index. I know it's a long shot but it's all I've got at the moment apart from the Bishop's transcripts for Broadwell which might show up something. Family Search gave me the film numbers. I have verified a birth and buriel date for a Samuel that fits. I googled for a marriage between Samuel and Elizabeth and found a thread from Roots Web dated 8 May 2002 which said the person had found the marriage of Samuel & Elizabeth 29 Sep 1725 of Filkins. It looks as if there could be such a marriage but where is it listed?
