Just giving this ago in the hope of contacting anyone from the Lidgett family. Edward Lidgett and his wife and children went to live in Hucknall in the 1890's moving from Bloxwich near Walsall. He was a miner, and had at least 9 children most of whom I believe stayed in the Hucknall area.
They were a methodist family and had a lot to do with the methodist church Edward's daughter Levinia may have been in the choir.
Meshack was one of his sons.
One of Edward's brothers Samuel owned a sweet shop in the area during the early 1900's into the 1930's.
