It was indeed Sue, since mailing you last time, I found out that another link to my family, the Mackernesses are also located in Finedon, and there are literally hundreds of them, I managed to speak to the archivist in Finedon today, he holds the records, he has transcribed them but they are not digitised unfortunately, so I am in a quandry as to what to do.

Ideally, I would love to go to Finedon and see the records myself, but I think I would be there for more than a few hours, but I don't think that would be possible, the archivist said he would happily look anything up for me, but I need so much information it would be better for me if I had copies, but I don't think he would let me have those.

If I get anything regarding getting copies of the records, I will let you know.
