I am trying to find information on Thomas Miller who was in Newcastle Gaol in 1841, I believe along with his wife Elizabeth born 1801 and Daughter Elizabeth born 1839,I am unable to trace them in the 1851 census. Does anyone have access to records for Newcaste Gaol for this period? I know he was still alive in 1852 when he is listed on his sons, also called Thomas, marriage certificate to Margaret Blair in Easington Durham. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also any information, newspaper or court records, regarding his conviction as a 'Debtor'
