one of my ancestors was a convicted bigamist and I am unable to find out what happened to his real wife. I have a record of their marriage in 1851 but can find no other record of her. She was called Jane Hannah huntley and he was Robert Kenlish. Her father was George Huntley a master mariner and his was Robert Kenlish senior also a mariner. When Robert (the younger) left prison he setup home with the bigamous wife. The mariages legal and bigamous took place in Norhumberland
