William MURRAY and wife Mary (1) and Isabella (2), North Shields 1841 - 1871

Surnames: MURRAY
William was born in Scotland 1815 - where exactly?? By 1871 William was married to second wife Isabella - when did Mary die? Can't find them in 1861 census. The census entries are confused (listed as Murrard in 1871). Any info would be useful.
