I know this is later but my grandfather on my mothers side was born 1892 in Corbridge and his mother was Mary Jane Coulson,his middle name Matthew and his brother had Coulson as a middle name You may find more info in the directories on line. I have books about Corbridge showing a Matthew Coulson as a farmer at Shildon Lough in 1886. Will see what else I have in my file.
