it does get confusing,so many conflicts.

what i do know is that John Joseph Sims was born 1835 and died 6 dec 1881.
he married Victoria Jane Little from Dublin(possibly Jane Victoria Little)on 18 March 1858.

i dont have much more to go on,other information i have is down to Family stories.
The story goes that a branch of the family left Wiltshire and went to London to find work as the farm they worked failed repeatedly.After the father dies one of the sons joined the army and sent money back to his mother.

John Joseph Sims at the age of 19 won a Victoria Cross for acts of bravery while in the Crimea.I have been trying to find a link with this J.J Sims and a branch in Wiltshire but just finding a father is proving very difficult.
