There was a Henry Smith, Boiler Maker, in Greenwich in 1891, who seems to have lived previously in Poplar, among other places. Remarried to a widowed Elizabeth Field by 1881. And is of the right sort of age to be the man who died in the workhouse
He also seems to have had a son Charles but said son was not listed with the family in 1891, which might be worrying. Although there doesn't seem to be a stand out death for him in the area, so he might be around
Are marriages in south London of a couple of the other children.
Paddington is where Charles Smith married, on no other record does it say he was born there
