I recently was searching for this relative on my husbands side who died as an infant. We wanted to know how he had died exactly and received help on how to obtain his birth certificate. I applied for the certificate but the GRO refunded me as the date I entered was wrong. We don't know the date he died exactly but just know it was in March 1966 in the Barnet, Middlesex area. As it was in the last 50 years he died is there a way of obtaining his death certificate without knowing the exact date or a way of finding out an exact date so that we could fill in the form correctly. We would really love to know the reason he died. If anyone could help I would be very grateful. I am still getting to grips with how to do all of this.
