Still trying to find parents of Robert Elwin who married Elizabeth Uwins 1804 in St Pancras Parish Church 1804. Robert was born ca 1777-1778 in Norfolk. There seems to several Robert Elwin's born same timeframe. Elizabeth has well known brothers, David a doctor, Thomas an artist, and Zachariah Uwins. I thought I would find mention of Robert Elwin and wife Elizabeth in the letters of Zach and his brother Thomas, but there is no mention of their sister.
Would the marriage record of Robert and Elizabeth 1804 mention his parents?
Robert died 1857,a retired silk manufact,in Lewisham. Would there be an obituary, something to give insight as to his ancestry?
I did find the will of Elizabeth's mother Elizabeth Hale Uwins, where she leaves items to her Elwin grandchildren by name.
