I don't have a DoB for my great grand father which is what is making things difficult. The only information i have is from his sons birth certificate. Arthur had a son called Leslie in 1918 but the mother was not married to Arthur. He married his wife after the child was born but i don't know how long after. He was definitely living at 153 Batteresea Park Road in 1918 as that is the address on his sons birth certificate.
Unfortuantely we don't have any family left who can remember either of him and the only thing my mum remembers about his wife is that she was called nan newton - not a lot of help!

I ahve no idea if he had any siblings or if there were any other marriages.
Sorry to be so vague, but this is all the information i have.
