Just came across your reply to a query about the German Hospital in Dalston & wonder if you might have any info on its staff (or know anyone else who might). My gggfather, Christian Feldmann, was the Secretary there from 1860 to 1894 but I've hit a brick wall trying to find out anything about him or his origins.
