Thanks to Geoffrey Fairey (Spain) much new information on Fairey relatives in London (Shoreditch) etc. Family members prominent silversmith/watchmakers listed in Worshipful Company of Clockmakers, Grocer's Company. London lists several possible family members ca. 1750-1850+. Looking for family links to Sir Charles Richard Fairey b. Hendon 1887-1956 of Fairey Aviation as lineage suggested in family stories. Looking for forebears of Joseph Fairey likely born London 1802, watchmaker/silversmith by trade. m Nov. 3, 1829 St. George the Martyr, Southwark to Esther Hack. Many relatives bapt/marr. at St. Leonard's Shoreditch. See also links to Thrower or Thrower-Fairey, Liverpool. Also Joseph Fairey & Son Watchmakers, London Kingsland Road, Cumberland Street. See also Fairey watchmaker c. 1750, London and John Fairey, watchmaker 1805-1811; Richard Fairey watchmaker 1816-1840. Any and all connections interest me
