On 9 Nov 1818 Edwards Soars married Sarah Foulds at Woodhouse, Leicestershire. Records show they were both of the Woodhouse parish and probably lived at Woodhouse Eaves.
The witnesses to this marriage: Thomas Foulds and Edward Squires.
Looking for any further information about any of these people as well as the children of Sarah and Edward.
Records show that Edward was convicted and transported to The Colony of New South Wales arriving in 1836 on the vessel 'Susan'.
After transportation the Soars surname seems to have 'mutated' and became most commonly spelt Sayers. Research has provided me with information about Edward's convict life in the Colony
Now I am seeking more information about Edward's life in England prior to conviction and any information on Sarah and their children who stayed at Woodhouse Eaves. I am also looking for information about Sarah's family and the connection with the Squires family.
Thanks in advance for any assistance
