My Palmer is Mary Ellen Palmer, b. 22 May 1845 in England, d. 2 July, 1916 in Pontiac, Livingston Co, IL. She married Robert William Tuffs, my maternal grandmother's grandfather. Grandmother's sisters said that Mary Ellen's father was a Charles Palmer, but I've been unable to obtain any further information about him yet. Mary Ellen's mother was a Mary.
