Slight problem with my scheme - in the 1911 census, Catherine, daughter of Thomas and Mary was living in Preston where her younger brother was born, not in Longton. There are 141+ military deaths of men from Preston, not 10 like Longton.
There is another Catherine born the same year, mother TUSON. Are you certain that you have the correct Catherine? The other one was living in Longton with her grandparents in 1911.
