hi, ive been looking for this guys death for a few years now - I have to following deatil

William Coward born 1842 in Leigh
Baptised in 1842 in Eccles

1851 in Pennington with grandparents
1861 in pennington with grandparents
(parents were living next door)
1866 gets married to Alice Waterworth
1871- in Pennington as head
1881 in Farnworth (Bolton) as head
1891 - alive but not on census with the family
1901 - alice down as 'wodow' on census
1922 Alice died and is buried in Farnworth cem , no sign of William on the gravesone as Ive checked it

Ive scrolled the BMD and everywhere else but cant find his death and was wondering if he might have travelled -

other info - he had a brother called James who moved to liverpool but hes not turned up there either - his occupation was a joiner . Most of the family were buried at Farnworth cem and one child called Hugh was buried in Walkden aged one - the next generation were all in Farnworth -

I have every other detail you can think of just the burial I dont have , Alices death details ect as well as their address in 1922 , but no sign of him . I was thinking of getting Hughes death cert to see if he signed it , the marriages of his children assume he was alive certainly beyond 1891 , im not sure if anyone can help as he may have done a flit and gone abroad but surely for that time there should be a death detail record somewhere - ive even asked my cousin in Amercia but we still cant find - and Ive double checked the probates , nothing/
