hi all again, i am visiting cheetham hill in under 2 weeks and my 3rd grt grandfather who was jewish died in 1859 in smedley new hall in cheetham. i dont know if he died a jew or if he was unitarian, i know his descendants on my line were unitarian ,so may not have been buried in a jewish graveyard. where are the closest graveyards and churches to cheetham hill? does smedley new hall still exist? his name was morris sigismund Meyer. his wife my 3rd grt grandmother susanna graves died in kent in 1870. any help appreciated.
