John Nugent Jackson .. born Achill Island Co Mayo 1830.. arrived in Liverpool 1844 as apprentice for the Merchant Navy , gained Master Ticket in 1855...married Mary Catherine Price at Seaforth Liverpool 1857 .. Children: John Harding Jackson,Thomas,Henry,Richard ( died at sea 1888) and one daughter Catherine(never married) John Died at Anfield in 1904 and is buried with his wife at Rake Lane Cemetry Wallasey Wirral.
