John Nugent Jackson b 1830 Achill Island Co mayo,came to to liverpool in aprox 1844 joined merchant navy,master mariner ticket gained in 1855 at Liverpool,married 19th Feb 1857 Mary Catherine Price at the parish church of sefton (father Thomas Price, master mariner)there son James Harding Jackson b 2nd Jan 1859 at Litherland...John Nugent died april 1904 ,his obit appeared in the Echo ,seems he was well known in liverpool ( really ! )and majority of the Big shipping lines owners attended..I would like to know the name of the parish church in sefton ? and any info greatly recieved.
