Henry SHAW, a widower, living at Coppy Nook, Blackburn, Lancashire married Mary SLAGG 6 May 1841 in Manchester. He remained at that house until sometime after his son Thomas Slagg SHAW was born 9 May 1842. TSS became a regular army officer 24 Aug 1861 in the 5th Regiment Norhtunberland Fusiliers and married Mary Catherine SHARPE 7 July 1864 in Douglas, Isle of Man. Need most info about each of the above as well as their ancestors. TSS was GGrandfather of my wife, Sheila SHAW Carr. Any help much appreciated.
