Hi,
Have you the christening details from the IGI
Peter Baley
16 Jan 1757
St Michaels Church
Ashton-under-Lyne
The only other thing I can add is, Honeywell Lane still exists.
It is just off the main road that runs into Ashton, there are a few of the terraced houses left, but a lot of new houses aswell.

Ed,
I imagine you have realised I live in Oldham, I do not live near Honeywell Lane, but my daughter lives just across the road from there.
Do you have a copy of Benjamin & Betty marriage, I could try to get you one and send it by email. The local studies office have a lot of marriges on micro-film, they normally let you copy the registers.
It may take a few days

I do not have any copies. My sister was talking with some one and we got this far. I am wanting to go further. Also
for Peter and Isaac we were not sure if they are correct..
If they are correct then Peter's son is Benjamin Bailey
and his son is Thomas who came to the USA in 185?.
Thomas's wife is Ann Needham, of which I am a direct
decent.
