Thank you. I am new to all this ' Workhouse ' research. I thought people worked, ate, slept and lived in these places, never even thought of the possibility of them being used as just a hospital too.
It's has been great going through the records too, reading why these people ended up there, so sad, but makes you realise how tough times were in those days.
