I am Searching for Leonard Ernest Smith ( believed to have been born Claxton)

During WW1 it is also believed he was residence in Winsor Castle, Grenadier Guards, 1st Batt. Support Coy.( Communications)

I have recently come across a Death Certificate whilst searching records, that states he died in July 2003, in Bromley Kent, in a Hospice. It is believed he lived in Catford London SE. ( i am not sure whether this is the person, without any proof of anyone that may have known him, so any information would be greatly appreciated.
