The family seemed to stay around Bishops Stortford between 1864 and 1882. Children were Annie b. 1866; Emily b.1868; Alice b.1870; Susanna b. 1873; Mary b. 1876; John Barnard b.1879; Maud b. 1882; mostly baptised at St Michaels.
In 1891 they were living in Wharf St, Bishops Stortford. Ralph was listed as a Rope Maker and Commercial Traveller throughout his life.
