I have traced back and verified records as far as my gt gt gt grandfather George Everard born abt 1839 in Hartley Westpall Hants.
However, once I reach the 1851 census it gets confusing.
There are separate Hartley Westpall census entries for a George Everard, abt same birth date and place but one is living with parents George and Mary Ann and the other with parents Joseph and & Ann.
Does anyone have any ideas where I can go from here to verify which is the 'correct' George.
Would be grateful for any advice.
