My grandfather George Corby married Alice Hardiman in Moreton-in-Marsh between approsimately 1915-1920. She was from that town, but he was from elsewhere, place unknown. They lived there and had 3 children there, one of which was my father, John. Then divorced later..I am trying to trace George's origins and wondered if the family was originally Irish. George served with Her Majesty's Loyal or Royal Regiment, I think in London. I would love to hear from anyone tracing Corbys with a Geoge in the family!
