My grandfather Edwin Lewis was born in Merthyr, Glamorgan. On the l88l Census his parents are: William Lewis b. l85l in Camdon Gloucester and Elizabeth Lewis b. 1855 Merthyr. There is no Camdon on any map. Does anyone with local knowledge know where Camdon might be? Perhaps someone has come across William Lewis in their searches. I'd be delighted to hear from you.
