Hi. I'm new to Ancestry and could use a little help please.

I have Samuel Taylor born in Rendcomb, Gloucestershire, England Abt 1844

I have census records for him after marriage and marriage details to Edith Bishop 1876

I am having trouble finding his parents. I have a possible match Thomas and Martha, but they make the birth earlier, by 2 years, than on the ones after marriage. Could this still be a match?

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
