I would appreciate your direction in finding out where to look for cause of death - England. Thank you in advance!

Not sure I'm understanding your question correctly, but I'd look on the person's death certificate. See the tutorial at
http://home.clara.net/dixons/Certificates/indexbd.htm
for information about the contents of birth, marriage, and death certs.

Hello,
I'm not sure which country you are in, but Death Certificates in general - UK especially give the cause of death and the informant of the death, plus other information. It is therefore, important that you have a certificate and in England they can be purchased from GRO - online.
If the death occurs in another country then the certificates may not have the full cause of death or other information you required - so it depends on where a person died.
I had an uncle who died in Switzerland and there is a lot of information on their certificates, but it excludes the reason for death. In that case I found out that they do not divulge the cause of death for some reason. (Certain circumstances may apply). However, they do give other more in depth information.
Perhaps you could be specific and if the person you seek died in England I can get the references for you in order that you may send for death certificate. They are approx. nine pounds sterling and twenty five pence and can take up to three weeks to arrive. However, they do notify you of the time it will take when you apply for the cert.
Hope that helps. If can be of any further help please let me know and I will see what I can do.
Good luck,
