An email today from another web site has advised that they now have 2006 birth and death records online but due to a change in legislation all marriage records from 2006 onwards will no longer be made available to search online and that you have to approach the local office where the event took place directly. (Yes thats the information we want to search for!)
This is the first I have heard of this. Does anyone else know about it? It looks like the thin end of the wedge before all new records willl not be made available online to me. Okay these are new records but they are useful in tracing living relatives as well. This in my opinion is bad news for the genealogy community regarding English/Welsh records.
